History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Animal Trainer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second son.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Thervan was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
