History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Through the years after Aelar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
