Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Rolen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: A plain young-adult man, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Nim wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Nim was born with his mother's beautiful face. After coming to the age of reason, Nim took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: He tends to wear a large yellow jacket. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His ears are large.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a grey armored body suit, with a simple tan line shooting up and back down. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'11" when asserting himself. His golden hair is smooth and relatively long. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Erevan was born the youngest of three triplets. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends
