History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Soveliss alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Soveliss and his spouse have recently divorced.
