History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Nutae has worked very hard to control his curse. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His first spouse was a Bricklayer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He very much looks the part of a Healer. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His blonde hair is singed and shortened. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Berrian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Berrian. He's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. After months of barely getting by, Theriatis managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
