Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the west to a Guard, Thamior learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Varis has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Aramil lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Mason. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Barrister, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
