Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Gifted from a young age, Thervan studied abroad. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.
