History: Carrie hails from a village terrorized by giants. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Rolen was born with his father's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolen. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die.
