History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and wants to open a new tavern
