History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Uthemar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he prefers to wear flannel. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Raer was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Raer took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: Beiro was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
