History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Rael never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A true patriot, Theriatis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Theriatis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign.
