Heartbroken, Rael never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and to get a good night's sleep
