History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Laucian grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Vanuath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Stableman. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
