History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Azaki and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: Korfel is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Korfel was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To protect his home; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
