He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Theriatis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
