Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He became a Herbalist soon after.

His hair is long and white with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Lamlis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Barber arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
