History: Naill was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Peren hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. Peren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
