History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tattered old clothes, and is pretty ugly. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Tharivol lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Tharivol took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and sabotage a competitor
