During his travels, Hadarai and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hadarai discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hadarai fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He got into the Courier business at a young age. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mayor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Berrian grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
