Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Laucian lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Carrie was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Carrie and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. Being a Healer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is content
