History: Aelar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Galinndan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He married young, but lost his spouse to drow. He became a Banker soon after.
