History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theriatis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theriatis. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family.

History: He was born in the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. He struck the Stylist job and began his own company from there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
