Description: The dark-skinned man stands 4'9" and wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: He is content; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He uses divination through singing.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: An older man who is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze, he is not a threatening figure. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He is a Stableman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Stableman responsibilities is difficult.
