Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He is a Slave Trader first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This man stands a little under 5'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a blue shirt with thin green vertical stripes and white pants. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. Rael liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Blacksmith responsibilities is difficult; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is fixated on the number 57. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to prove his worth to the world
