History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. After a long history of fighting, Beiro and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was a Server, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
