In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: The child of a Locksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Peren was taken on many hunting expeditions. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Riardon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father.
