History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He tends to his Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: Standing 4'9", this man wears skinny pants and wears a grey and blue robe with the hood down. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult.

Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He carries with him a set of kukris on his belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. He sports a flattop hair cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Halimath is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Halimath grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Thervan was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Carpenter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
