History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Hunter. He bought a longbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bowyer business.
