In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ahvain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mortician. He has worked as a Mortician like his mother before him.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Rael was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
