Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Heian was born with his mother's beautiful face. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. History: Naeris hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naeris grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naeris. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
