Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thervan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Lamlis has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
