His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in greatsword use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Aerdeth was born with his father's beautiful face. Aerdeth was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Aerdeth decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
