Personality: Gennal hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
