Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears a grey vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his grey boots flare out at the collars. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Heian liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. After a long history of fighting, Theren and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and someone believes him a fraud
