He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Ahvain hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with his Weaver mother left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ahvain was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
