He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a deep hatred of gnolls
