Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Peren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. Being a Laborer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
