Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Lamlis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Soveliss hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: The child of a Detective, who enjoyed hunting, Gennal was taken on many hunting expeditions. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Caeldrim was born with his father's beautiful face. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded.
