He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Koeth was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Koeth decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. History: Theren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Theren took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family.
