Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing pastel cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Laucian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Laucian. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Himo hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.
