During his travels, Soveliss and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Soveliss discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Soveliss fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Quarion was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

History: Naeris was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
