History: Born in the north to a Marshal, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sculptor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
