Personality: Varis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Naill hails from a village terrorized by drow. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
