History: He was born in the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Rael was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
