The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Dayereth took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Armorer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second son.
