Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Aramil hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Aramil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Dayereth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. After coming to the age of reason, Dayereth took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He prefers to carry a hammer, but if one is not available he will default to his flail. His hair is auburn and curly. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Rael was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
