History: Rolen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Healer father left him crippled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.
