Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His tied-back hair is red. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Berrian took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up bow and armor he uses now. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Description: 4'8" and muscular, this eastern man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Theren was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Varis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
