History: Born to a Brewer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Hunter for the past few years.

His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peren was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
