History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Dreali enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Dreali was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Dreali was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dreali's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Dreali and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Mindartis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Adventurer and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Dreali hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. Dreali enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
